DLG announces partnership with i-movo
DLG announces SMS voucher redemption service in conjunction with digital voucher specialist i-movo
Leading UK consumer data solutions provider DLG, has bolstered its recently-launched mobile marketing offering with an sms voucher-redemption solution aimed at the retail marketing sector.
The service, in collaboration with secure digital voucher firm i-movo, aims to drive clients' product sales either in-store or from on-line traffic, through the use of voucher-based promotions. By simply texting a direct response number from their mobile phone, purchasers apply for a special offer promotion on a product they wish to buy, and receive a uniquely referenced voucher which can be redeemed immediately at the point of sale. Alternatively, previously opted-in consumers may be sent an sms voucher for a featured product direct to their mobile, for redemption at a participating retailer.
As well as building brand loyalty, and creating a direct line of communication to live purchasers via sms and mobile, the service provides the opportunity for appropriate post-campaign targeting and cross-sell opportunities, by analysing the wealth of detailed characteristics and demographics of those sms voucher-redeemers that match to DLG's databases. Identifying responder-types, analysis of their key characteristics and demographic segmentation for subsequent targeted brand marketing are all key parts of the service. Furthermore, look-a-like prospects can also be identified for future push campaigns to ensure highest possible return on investment.
