DLG respects the right of an individual's privacy. This policy details our data collection methodology, its use and safeguards, as well as the choices an individual may make about the way their personal data is collected and used.
We provide data products and services, containing personal data, to our clients during which time we follow practices described in this privacy policy in relation to such personal data.
We are members of the Direct Marketing Association and adhere to their policies concerning the use of personal data. DLG is also registered with the Information Commissioner and ensure compliance with any of the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998, the Telecommunications Act 2003, the Privacy and Electronics Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 and other applicable legislation as amended or introduced from time to time. Furthermore, DLG is annually audited by the Direct Marketing Authority.
DLG collects personal data, such as name, addresses, emails, telephone numbers, lifestyle and demographic data both online and offline through questionnaires, partners, public sources, commercially available databases and our websites. Personal data may be kept in its identifiable form, or in an aggregated form, for the purposes stated herein.
We may collect personal data online from individuals via our questionnaire and competition websites and from prospects and clients to help us efficiently perform various business transactions. Transfer of Ownership
Under change of control of DLG or divisions, subsidiaries or affiliates, personal data shall be considered a transferable asset. Also, in the event that DLG or its divisions, subsidiaries or its affiliates are purchased, personal data may be one of the transferred assets.
