Martin Rowland, Chief Operating Officer

Martin joined DLG from Grant Thornton where he headed up the team delivering operational due diligence and merger integration support.

 

Martin led the integration of Wegener whilst working as a consultant to DLG.

 

Martin's experience encompasses corporate finance, business integration and operational management. His career started with PWC (then Coopers & Lybrand) where he worked within business recovery and turnaround.

 

Martin has held several other senior positions within large corporates, including Rank Group plc, where he executed a wide range of acquisitions and disposals (businesses ranging from £1m in turnover to £450m) and delivered strategic reviews of key divisions whilst working within the M&A team. At Accord plc Martin held the position of Head of Business Transformation with responsibility for the delivery of operational improvement programmes and new business integration.

 

Martin is married with one child and spends his leisure time pursuing sporting interests.
